Hello, my name is.....

Okie dokie, I guess I’m gonna just jump right in! Hello, my name is Danielle. I'm the older sister, with the younger child (he's 4 and FABULOUSLY FEROCIOUS!)

THIS is a special blog/site for me to be starting. I’ve always loved creative writing, and haven’t done any in SO long. I’ve also always loved all things Disney. For several years as a pre-teen, I was obsessed with all things Mickey Mouse, and I remember as a little girl, the highlight of each year was the ‘new’ Disney movie coming out in theaters. When I was 8, my mother drove my sisters and I across the country to visit family in Southern California (we lived in Minnesota), and took us to Disneyland. My youngest sister was 3 years old, and still remembers that trip. (PS: I will DEFINITELY be digging up some photos of that trip in the future… I know they’re in a box somewhere!)

I wanted to create a place where I can express all of my Disney-est feelings for everyone to enjoy.

The first time I set foot in that magical place called Walt Disney World (Magic Kingdom) was June, 2016. Just 2 short years ago, and my life was forever altered. <3 I was finally ‘home’. I couldn’t WAIT to bring my son, who at the time was 2 years old- and show him all of the magic and wonder that is Disney! In those 2 years since, we’ve been to all 4 parks, a total of 7 trips, or 22 days. 22 days that I will cherish for FOREVER (except for 1 terrible day, which I’ll talk about in another post).

The best part? We only live 4 hours away, therefore we will be seeing a LOT more trips in our future!!!

So I know that I’m quite the novice when it comes to ‘Disney Bloggers’, and I won’t even try to compare with the Instagram famous bloggers/photographers/etc. I’m definitely doing my best to have clean hair and get my toddler fed on a regular basis. However, my sister & I love to plan our Disney trips, and we love to help others have as much fun there as we do! We don’t have all of the answers, and sometimes we even use a Travel Agent who ‘specializes in Disney Vacations’ to help us out. But more about her in another post!

I guess the purpose of this first post was just to give a little insight into who I am, and why I’m doing this. I’m forcing Lindsey to contribute as well, with her own ‘introduction post’ that you will see later on. I want to post at least once a week, if not more frequently, with either whatever we’re working on or figuring out at the time, or stories about past trips, and I might even have a post regarding drinking ‘around the world’ showcase!….(yes, we still like to have grown-up fun, even though we have little ones!) I’m excited to see where this journey leads us. Come along for the ride!
